((SO sorry for the delay on the blog post!  I have been swamped - not in a bad way!  - with galleries, new editing programs, creating & tweaking websites and Life in general!))


What a fun family!!!
I met with the Young family a few weeks ago in Narragansett.  We had the beach to ourselves and the kids were able to run about.

On the last Saturday of summer I met with this fun family in Narragansett for a beach sunset family photo session.  The clouds were above when we started, but by the end of the session they were burned off by a gorgeous sunset!  It ended up being a perfect evening!

Artery Family on the Beach

August 2010 -- Second Annual Brigg's Beach family beach photo session with the Artery's!

This family are great friends of ours and their little girls are like sisters to my little boys.  Not only are they sweet, but they are beautiful little girls who are not shy in front of my camera.  Their Mom & Dad aren't so bad, either.   :)

Allen Family Beach Preview

After Mother Nature made us reschedule this family beach session at least two times, I was finally able to meet this fun family of four at their Narragansett beach rental late last week.  We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful house right on the beach, nor a more perfect evening to have some fun, smile into the sun, romp on the sand on the practically private beach!

{The Allen family came to me as a referral from another client/friend ... and I just LOVE when clients pass on the good word about RitzyPics :)  Thank you, Sarah!!}

And these two little boys --- SO cute!  And thankfully, both were loving the camera and had fun hamming it up and posing for me up and down the beach :)

I've decided to do something a little different for this preview - I'm only going to showcase some of the black &whites.  I previewed some color images on my FaceBook fan page, but there is just something about beach black & white that I just love.  The sun setting light made for a bright evening and I love how bright and soft the black & white came out.

Kate & Ben - Beach Session, Narragansett

How adorable and precious is this brother & sister beach session?

It sure doesn't hurt when the kids are so good looking :)

I met with Kate and her little brother Ben Saturday evening down at Scarborough Beach in Narragansett this weekend. 

This pure sweetness kinda takes your breath away, doesn't it?!

Littlest Heroes Project - EMMA Preview

Meet Emma ... the 5th Hero I have met since this spring and been honored to photograph.  I met Emma, Katie and Shawn on a beautiful Saturday morning at Roger Williams Park this weekend.  The Hasbro playground was empty and perfect for Emma to run about it and explore as I snapped away.

Little Emma spent her first three months of life in the hospital. Just after birth she was diagnosed with Esophageal Atresia and Tracheoesophageal Fistula. Her esophagus (feeding tube) was not connected to her stomach.

It's been a long road from Emma and her family but she is now a thriving, happy & healthy 17 month old!  

Not only is Emma as cute as a button, she is full of expression and already knows she has her Mom and Dad wrapped around her little fingers!  :)  

Emma is also a Hero ... as are her Mom and Dad!

It was lovely to meet Emma and her family.
