Sisters Alexis & Makenna had a great afternoon in the sunshine & sand  :)  They were super listeners and did a great job listening to me pose them along the beach & sand dunes at Mantunick State Beach in S. Kingstown, RI..

Full Circle.

I had the pleasure of first meeting Jenn, Steve and their 2 girls a few months ago for Jenn's maternity & family photo session ... and got to come full circle this past weekend when they called me over to meet & photograph their newest addition: Samantha.  Baby Girl #3.  :)

Little Samantha was wide awake and checking everything out.  She was doted on & kissed and snuggled by her big sisters Sydney & Dylan.

I was honored to be part of capturing such special and important times in their lives for them.  Thank you Jen & Steve for having me freeze this moment in time for you.  :)

I got a "two for one" deal for photo sessions last weekend ... when Susanne contacted me for newborn pictures for her daughter Avery she also let me know that her friend was interested in pictures as well.  


How cool!  :)


After a morning session with Susanne I headed over to meet Karen & Jeff and their three children - and what sweet little cuties they were!

Cydney is almost three and the twins, Luke & Lindsay are just about 8 months old.  Fun, cute & busy  ... and for the twins, on the move!

We had a fun photo shoot and with bottles on hand, Puffs, M&Ms and a few bribes we were able to snap some great family pictures and individual pictures of the kids and a few of Mom & Dad.

I had the pleasure of meeting Susanne and her son Brendan again this past weekend.  Last fall I met with them both at Roger Williams Park and had a fun afternoon capturing Susanne and busy Brendan.  This time, however, I got to meet and photograph two more family members ... Dad, Chris, and newborn baby girl, Avery.  Avery is just barely 2 weeks old and was a sleepy dream to photograph  :)

Beach Preview 5/7/10

I met with this lively & fun family Friday evening at Scarborough State Beach for a spring beach session.  You might remember them from our fall session.  Little Tate with those blond curls and bright blue eyes will make anyone stop and take a second smile.

It was a perfect spring evening, some wind, but lots of sunshine and small waves on the surf.  It ended up being a great time to be there ... only a few were on the beach with us so we didn't have to worry about crowds.  And thankfully both Korynne and I were able to shuffle our schedules around a little to make the photo session as it was originally booked for Saturday which ended up being big rain, winds and hail.

Baby B's 2nd Birthday Session --> Preview!

I had the huge pleasure of photographing this wonderful family this past weekend.  You might remember this cutie of a little boy from a fall photo session.  It was fun to get outside again and run around a local park and playground for this spring photo session to celebrate the BIG TWO for Baby B.... who, I guess could be getting into the "Big Boy" category soon!  :)

Baby B turns TWO this month!

He is a sweetheart of a little boy.

We had a great time playing at the local playground!  B loved the swings!!

The Littlest Heroes Project - JOSEPH -- > Preview!

Four year Joseph ... ready to run, jump, play, smile & hug.
Joseph has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.

Joseph is a HERO.

Joseph had a heart attack at four hours old and was subsequently diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome .... a condition where only half of the heart grew in utero. No one thought he would survive the trip from RI to Boston when he was born.  But he did.  He fought that day and hasn't stopped since.  He has undergone numerous surgeries and procedures and has survived three open heart surgeries so far which have allowed his life to be prolonged until technology can catch up and offer him alternatives.

Joseph lives each day filled with energy and love despite having only half a heart.
He has a remarkable way of impating those around him without even trying.

He is his Mom's BRAVE LION.


Joseph - and his Mom and brother - are ALL heroes.
