Roger Williams Park & Zoo



I met with Sarah, Eric and their sweet little girls on a Friday evening at Roger Williams Park & Zoo. It was a warm night and even with the clouds above we were able to have a fun time in the Chinese Garden!

Sarah has such an infectious laugh and smile she kept us all having fun during the shoot. Alexis was not shy for the camera and was totally into the the shoot and did such a wonderful job! Little Makenna took a few moments to warm up to the flashes but after a few games of chase and peek-a-boo and she was ready to roll and smile for the camera. :)

Thanks Sarah and Eric -- your girls are too darn cute.

I met with Karen and 5 year old Dylan on a picture-perfect Saturday afternoon along the beach in North Kingstown. A brisk 62 degree day with the sun shining and a gentle breeze made for a great first fall weekend photo shoot.

Dylan was a dream to photograph - he listened, he smiled, he laughed at my jokes and told his own knock-knock jokes, and had fun being a kid while I snapped away.

While away for the weekend, celebrating the last of summer, I took the opportunity to have a mini-session with our great friends, Brad & Mary and their two girls, Sophie and Gracie. We were at the ocean already and opted for a beach-side photo shoot. The sun was shining, the girls were smiling, and the beach was empty. A perfect morning for some family pictures!

Mary and I both agreed that the beach look in black and white would be perfect. The coordinating white shirts and jeans and bare feet made for perfect pictures. Each one makes me smile ... and Mary loved the pictures!

There is still time left in the season for family portraits taken at the beach ... bundled up in sweaters or fleece and jeans with the ocean waves pounding the background would make for extra special photographs and keepsakes.
